About this artwork
Early-medieval monastic site in a deep wooded glacial valley. The 30 m round tower of granite and mica-schist, almost complete, with a conical stone cap and a doorway well above ground level, rises from a graveyard of old leaning headstones and simple stone crosses. Nearby St Kevin's Church ('St Kevin's Kitchen'), a small stone oratory with a steep stone roof and a short round belfry on its west gable. Steep forested hills (oak, pine) close the valley behind.
Every Jason D’s Vision image is an AI-generated artistic interpretation of a real place — original artwork, not a photograph. The label bar on the download may show a creative daylight scenario; that is artistic staging, not a record of a real event.
